Impact of Remote Work on Housing

Featuring Jeff Tucker, Senior Economist at Zillow

Co-Host Anthony Grasst, National Sales Director, Builder Division, at Homebridge Financial

The Coronavirus pandemic, and subsequent economic shutdown and recession, has rocked housing, just as it has with many industries. However, with states across the country reopening, buyers and sellers have returned faster than expected. In addition, buyers have moved online with search traffic on Zillow dwarfing 2019 levels. All this comes as the potential for remote work grows, giving buyers good reason to re-evaluate where they live or where they want to live.

The path ahead remains uncertain, but there are lessons to be learned as we plan for the future of housing. Join Jeff Tucker, Senior Economist at Zillow and Anthony Grasst, National Sales Director – Builder Division for Homebridge Financial, as they discuss that future, present the real time metrics being used to monitor our recovery and tackle questions concerning the trajectory of our future.
