Tony Blodgett
Regional Vice President, Northwest, New American Funding

With 20 years of experience in the mortgage banking industry, Tony Blodgett has a strong track record in leading diverse teams of professionals to new levels of success. He has the proven ability to identify opportunities, develop innovative ideas for enhancing competitiveness, increase revenues, ensure steady growth, and improve customer service offerings. Since joining NAF Tony has lead the Pacific Northwest Region to new heights, with a 69% increase in funded volume and the aim of continued growth. He believes in New American Funding’s mission, platform, culture, and leadership and looks forward to continued growth and being an industry leader in the PNW.



Rose Marie David
Senior Executive VP, Mortgage Division, HomeStreet Bank

Rose Marie David is the Senior Executive Vice President of the mortgage division at HomeStreet Bank, responsible for growing the residential mortgage banking franchise and overseeing mortgage production, operations, and servicing. Ms. David joined HomeStreet Bank in March 2012, coming from MetLife Home Loans where she was Pacific Northwest Regional Sales leader. She has been in the industry for more than 30 years, and has held nearly every role on the way to HomeStreet Bank’s Senior EVP, including owning her own mortgage brokerage. Ms. David holds a B.A. in finance from the University of Utah.

Under Ms. David’s leadership, HomeStreet Bank’s mortgage banking volume has grown 500%, reaching the top 15 retail lenders in the Scotsman Guide’s Top Mortgage Lenders 2016 and the number one purchase market share in the Pacific Northwest. Ms. David’s success has come from earning and maintaining a strong relationship with the community and always putting the customer first.

Lee Smith
Executive Vice President and COO, Flagstar

Lee Smith joined Flagstar in May 2013 as chief operating officer. He brings to Flagstar extensive experience in financial management and operations. In his capacity as a partner with MP (Thrift) Global Advisers III, he served as an outside adviser to the Flagstar management team and the compliance committee of the Flagstar board of directors.

Prior to that role, he was a partner with MatlinPatterson Global Advisers LLC, the investment adviser to the MatlinPatterson family of private equity vehicles, where he worked with a number of portfolio companies across many industries.

Earlier in his career, he was a senior director at Zolfo Cooper LLC in New York, an advisory and interim management firm. Additionally, he served as a vice president in Ernst & Young’s national restructuring group in both New York and London.

His memberships include serving on the board of governors of Cranbrook Institute of Science, as well as the institute’s board of governors finance committee, and board of trustees finance committee. He also is a member of the Freddie Mac National Advisory board. His professional memberships include the Institute of Chartered Accounts in England and Wales.

Don Burton
President, Evergreen Home Loans

Don Burton built Evergreen from a small West Seattle office to a major regional company that encompasses more than 60 branches in the Western United States.

Don launched Evergreen Home Loans in 1987. He started as a real estate agent and understands the home financing business inside and out including all facets of mortgage banking, from sales and production, to credit risk and managing solvency long-term.

A collaborative leader, he has an open door policy and invites fellow associates to participate in the direction of the organization. His passion to transform the lending experience for home buyers continues to define Evergreen as an organization and to inspire Don as a leader of positive responsive change.

Don served on the board of the Washington Mortgage Lenders Association since 1996 and was president in 2000, 2008, and 2009. Active in many philanthropic efforts, Don supports opportunities to improve youth programs throughout the country.

Don is a Washington Native and resides in West Seattle with his family.

Mark Hanna
Chairman and CEO, Director’s Mortgage

Mark Hanna’s passion for serving people combined with his love for numbers and real estate led him to the mortgage industry. In 1996, while attending college, he began his mortgage career at CTX Mortgage in San Diego. Upon graduating from the University of San Diego with his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Finance, his love for family and friends inspired him to move back to Oregon.

In July 1998, Mark founded Directors Mortgage in Lake Oswego with his first 2,375 sq. ft. office. With a focus on clients, he has led the advancement and growth of Directors Mortgage to more than 20 locations throughout Oregon and Washington with service to Idaho and California.

Grateful for his success, Mark continuously supports the community. Each year, Directors Mortgage contributes over $400,000 to our community’s diverse needs. We support a wide variety of causes and organizations including Big Brothers Big Sisters, American Cancer Society, several local food banks, HOME Foundation, March of Dimes, Alzheimer’s Association, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital and many more.
