Andy McDonough is a seasoned leader who is passionate about the mortgage industry. As President of the Washington Mortgage Bankers Association, Pacific Northwest Mortgage Lenders Conference Chair, and CMG Home Loans’s Branch Manager, Andy is dedicated to creating awareness, education, and inspiring engagement.

With over 25 years of mortgage expertise, he is committed to building high-performance teams and fostering positive relationships with loan originators, partners, and clients in advocating home ownership for all.

Andy believes in positively impacting clients, employees, partners, and communities to drive industry citizenship and community engagement.

Since 2001, Andy has lived in the Magnolia neighborhood with his family. In his free time, he enjoys the outdoors and producing adventure documentary films

ANNE MARIE BACHMANN

Anne Marie’s sales, recruiting and management career spans 25 plus years and she has been recruiting exclusively within the mortgage industry since 2006. Anne Marie is in charge of Strategic Growth for Movement Mortgage in the Pacific NW. Her depth and relationships in the Pacific Northwest span many years and she has impacted many people positively in that time.

She has been an active member and volunteer for the Washington Mortgage Bankers Association since 2006 and has served on the Board in many roles including President. She currently co-chairs the golf tournament and partners with our lobbyist to raise PAC funds in her role as PAC Co-Chair. She is an active volunteer at Holy Family Catholic Church in Kirkland.

Anne Marie is the proud Mom of a grown daughter, Kristian. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family, working out, wine tasting and dog sitting her grand dog, Gatsby.

JIM DEMARCO

For over 20 years Jim DeMarco has risen through the ranks in the mortgage industry holding a variety of leadership positions throughout sales, operations, and fulfillment. Beginning his career as a Loan Officer and an Account Executive, in 2006 Jim was promoted to Region Manager for M&T Bank’s Wholesale Division in Arizona. Following the housing crash, he relocated to the Pacific Northwest to join M&T’s West Division management team, holding various roles within operations and construction lending.

In 2013, Jim took over M&T’s Washington Region where he oversaw all facets of the operation for both their Retail and Wholesale lending channels. In Jim’s current role as a Branch Manager and Senior Mortgage Loan Originator, Jim now focuses on helping clients make effective financial decisions by showing them a new way of thinking about their mortgage – not just as a loan based on rates, ratios and guidelines, but as something with the potential to dramatically shift their financial situation now and into the future.

Jim has played an active role in the mortgage community, most recently serving as President of the Washington Mortgage Bankers Association. He is a native of Buffalo, NY and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Canisius College where he graduated cum laude and was recognized with the Management Academic Excellence Award. Jim resides in Renton, Washington with his wife and daughter.

JOHN SMITH

John is the Director of Residential Lending, Sales for WSECU continuing the legacy of excellent member service and organizational growth. He began his career in 1980 as a Branch Representative, progressively moving into branch management and divisional leadership. Over the past 41 years, John has enjoyed employment with large National Banks, Regional Banks and small Mortgage Brokers. Prior to his current role, John was employed with BECU for 9 years helping to build their mortgage production and grow market share. John is a recent graduate of Credit Union National Association Management School where he earned the Certified Credit Union Executive designation. In his career, John has earned multiple awards, served on numerous councils, mentored many employees into leadership roles, and has served thousands of families. John lives in Lacey with his wife, they have three adult children and one grandchild. Travelling, riding motorcycle and gardening are some of John’s favorite activities.

TONY FERNANDEZ

Tony Fernandez is a 24-year mortgage industry veteran who has held many roles in the mortgage industry including Loan Officer, Underwriter, Director of Product Development, Capital Markets Manager, and most recently, District Manager at Guild Mortgage Company. He is committed to educating people about the benefits of home ownership. Tony has been married for 23 years to his wife Trisha and has 2 children, Cruz who is 19, and Ava who is 14. In his spare time, Tony enjoys kayaking and paddle boarding, but his passion is coaching his daughter’s flag football team.
